Every year there are many positions open to FFA members to help with the production of the State FFA Conference.
FFA members attending State Conference may apply for:

State FFA Band, Choir, and Talent Application
The California State FFA Band is selected annually in the spring prior to the State FFA Leadership Conference. Applicants who are selected will rehearse and perform during the State FFA Leadership Conference.

State FFA Courtesy Corp
Members who participate as part of the State FFA courtesy corps during state convention, serve as part of a committee and therefore sub-committees.
Courtesy Corps Committee Mission: The Courtesy Corps is to provide assistance throughout the conference. Members of the Courtesy Corps greet our many guests, assist with awards programs, check for official uniform, and provide other functions as needed.
ARENA CORPS
Committee will assist in supervision of the activities occurring inside Selland Arena. Activities include: checking for proper credentials, directing guests to appropriate seating, crowd control, etc.
BANQUET CORPS
Committee will assist in supervision of all meal activities. Activities include: assisting in table set-up, taking tickets at the door, etc.
OTHER ACTIVITIES CORPS
Committee will assist in supervision of activities in and around the convention center. Activities include: checking for appropriate credentials at dances, assisting with Saturday Night Bash, etc.

State FFA Press Corps
The California FFA Press Corps is a program aimed at utilizing the publicity efforts of the state FFA leadership conference to provide experience in public relations and journalism for FFA members. Members selected for the Press Corps will spend time working with the public relations staff of the conference while working in the conference media room. Press Corps participants will also get a chance to work as student reporters during the convention. This is a great opportunity to develop skills, learn about available careers and get hands-on experience.

State Committee and Sub-Committee Chair Application
The California FFA Association Delegate Process is an important component of the Annual State FFA Leadership Conference.
Committee chairs coordinate the delegate process overall and present delegate recommendations to convention assembly during a general session. Sub-committee chairs assist the state officers in managing the delegate process. You will work with a small amount of students at State FFA Conference to develop a list of recommendations in a variety of areas.

State FFA Nominating Committee Application
The nominating committee shall, after consideration of the qualified candidates, make nominations for the various state offices. All candidates must have received the State FFA degree. Meetings of the nominating committee shall be closed meetings. Information given on all possible candidates shall be confidential. The nominating committee may nominate no more than two candidates for each office.

- Be an affiliated FFA member with a chapter in good standing with the state association
- Hold the Chapter FFA Degree at the time of the leadership conference where they are to serve
- Be a junior or senior in high school
