The Star Awards program recognizes the outstanding efforts of members within their SAE's, along with the dedicated efforts of Advisors, Counselors, and local Administration. Star Awards can be handed out at the Chapter, Section, Region, State, and National levels.

STAR Administrator Application
The State Star Administrator award program recognizes High School Administrators including: Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Principals, Assistant Principals, Career Technical Education Directors, and others classified as secondary school administrators who provide outstanding service to the local FFA program. The award is designed to recognize administrators who go above and beyond to provide opportunities for their students and their chapter to grow and improve.
STAR Advisor Application
The State Star Advisor award program recognizes chapter FFA Advisors (Secondary Agriculture Teachers) who demonstrate commitment to the local program. The award is designed to recognize teachers who go above and beyond to provide opportunities for their students and their chapter to grow and improve.
STAR Counselor Application
The State Star Counselor award program recognizes High School Guidance Counselors who demonstrate commitment to the local program. The award is designed to recognize counselors who go above and beyond to provide opportunities for their students and their chapter to grow and improve.

The State Star Reporter award program recognizes California FFA Chapter Reporters who demonstrate commitment to local program publicity. The award is designed to recognize chapter reporters who go above and beyond in the area of journalism, including print media, radio broadcast, television broadcast, recruitment programs etc.
